This is my finals project for Interactive Digital Narratives, and we were supposed to make a visual novel using Ren’Py and AI-generated images. I wanted to make a meta (i.e. self-referencing) game since I enjoy applying that concept whenever possible, and I came up with an idea to make a finals project on Ren’Py, about a student making a finals project on Ren’Py. The content involved ideas coming from a mix of my genuine deepest worries and actual personal experience. I’m also especially proud of managing to implement a minigame inside the visual novel, which astounded all of my classmates who saw it.
